Spring is here. The show season is underway, and many of us are already logging miles. That makes this the perfect time to pause for a couple of hours and sharpen the saw.
The Alliance of Professional Horse Trainers will host an in-person education session at the Bryan
Kickoff Classic at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan.
Friday, March 6
Check-in: 8:15 AM
Program: 8:30–10:00 AMLocation: Small conference room on the north end of the reining arena
A light breakfast and coffee will be served. This is a free event for Alliance trainers.
We have designed three fast-paced segments to deliver real value in a short window of time:
SHTX UpdatesImportant updates from Stock Horse of Texas Association that affect your program and your clients.
Rule Changes for 2026Judge Marilyn Peters will walk us through 2026 rule changes under National Reined Cow Horse Association and Stock Horse of Texas Association, including key updates affecting the Boxing Division. We will review example runs and discuss how they will be judged so you leave clear and confident when advising your clients.
Business Development - Endorser Programs: We will share practical guidance on aligning with companies you already trust. You will see examples of structured endorser programs that can help you generate additional income or reduce operating costs in your operation. Influence is something every trainer has. The question is whether we are using it intentionally.

If you are interested in attending or would like more details, please email Shannon at Shannon@ShannonPigott.com.
We look forward to seeing you in Bryan and continuing to build stronger businesses and stronger connections together.
